Are your services covered by OHIP?
As with most physiotherapy clinics in Ontario, we are not eligible to bill OHIP for physiotherapy services. However, almost all extended health plans provide varying amounts of yearly coverage for physiotherapy expenses.

Do I need a doctor's referral?
You do not require a doctor's referral to be treated by a physiotherapist. However, if you have an extended health care plan, your insurer may require a doctor's referral in order to reimburse you for the physiotherapy treatment.

During your treatment, the vast majority of the time is spent with hands-on treatment and exercise directed at the root cause of your problem.
During your treatment, the vast majority of the time is spent with hands-on treatment and exercise directed at the root cause of your problem.
How long is a treatment?
You can plan for your first assessment and treatment to be approximately one hour long, and subsequent, or follow-up treatments to be approximately 30 minutes of one-on-one time with your physiotherapist. We do not charge by the hour - we charge by the treatment. When a session is slightly longer or shorter in duration we do not alter our fee.

How do I make an appointment?
You can make an appointment over the telephone by calling Momentum Physiotherapy @ Amped Sports Lab at 613-822-0101. Someone from our friendly staff will talk to you about your physiotherapy needs and book an appointment that is suitable. If you are unable to contact us during office hours, you can email us at info@momentumphysiotherapy.ca and we will return your message the next day we are open.

What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring comfortable clothes that will allow the therapist to see the area to be treated (i.e. for leg, foot or lower back bring a pair of shorts; for upper back, chest or shoulder bring a tank top or sports bra). In addition, please bring your physiotherapist referral if you saw your doctor prior to coming to physiotherapy, as well as copies of relevant medical test results (i.e. x-ray, MRI reports).

We keep you moving!
